My iPod wont connect to iTunes anymore?

When I plug in my iPod to my computer it usually says its connected and it will come up in my iTunes, but now it doesn't do anything. It just sits there. I tried to change USB ports, restarting my iPod %26amp; my computer and it still wont work.

How can I get my iPod to connect to iTunes again?

I have never had this problem before, its always worked fine.My iPod wont connect to iTunes anymore?
It's probably the USB connector that isn't working. Are any of the prongs bent or broke off? It could be that it isn't connecting properly. If so, is there an Apple store in your area? (there's one by where I live in the woodfield mall) You could speak to someone at the store and see what they say. You could probably buy a new connector. If not, try buying one from the online store. Also, try looking at electronic stores, like Best Buy, or even Target or Walmart.

Have you pushed the connector in all the way into the computer? Maybe it isn't reading because it isn't in all the way.

Try going onto apple.com or the links below and read the support section.

Hope this helps... good luck and I hope the stuff starts working properly again!!My iPod wont connect to iTunes anymore?
The problem might be your cable. Try using someone else's cable or a dock.My iPod wont connect to iTunes anymore?
if you cable works then try re-installing itunes, that might be the problem too..hope that helps.
