How do i change my printer's port?

printer is in usb port 1, would like to change it to port 2. what do i have to reconfigure and all?

If it's a usb port, it shouldn't matter. Just shut down your PC. Swap the port, and then turn the PC on again. Depending on your software, the PC may say that it found a new device -- use the wizard to configure. Go to: Start -%26gt; Settings -%26gt; Printers or Start -%26gt; Printers %26amp; Faxes



Right click on the printer you need to change and select properties



Click on the 'Ports' tab.



Choose the correct port
