I have no internet connection after running spyware program?

I have been trying to rid our PC of a trojan virus. A few nights ago I installed and ran SuperAnti-spyware b/c I kept getting an XP pop-up for antivirus 09 that I couldn't shut down!! I hadn't initiated it either. Anyway, after it detected everything, I quarantined it and removed the infected files. Now I can't connect to the net--we have verizon DSL connection. Did I remove a needed file? It mostly looked like infected temp files/cookies.

I have done a system restore and fiddled around with our firewall settings, but to no avail. The message I get when I run the diagnostic wizard says it can't connect using http, https...and something about ports 80 and another . I haven't been able to figure out how to fix that or open or change those ports if I need to...Advice?I have no internet connection after running spyware program?
Best way to get rid of that terrible Malware easily is to download combofix.

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUB

Download it and run it, agree to the license, and let it scan. Should get rid of most of it. After that if you need anti-virus, use AVG 8.0, it's free and it doesn't expire, install and update it, and let it scan to get rid of the rest of it. free.avg.com and download the free edition of AVG 8.0.
