How do I change the port on my computer? And why can't I go to these URL's?

I try to access MUD RPG's with urls like this: telnet://tharel.net:5005/



But the page can never be displayed. I have a hunch that the porto n my computer is not right or something. How owuld I go about viewing these pages?How do I change the port on my computer? And why can%26039;t I go to these URL%26039;s?
Your firewall could be blocking telnet.



If its a port needs opening its more likely on your router, usually under NAT (Network Address Translation), Virtual server on the routers config pages.



There should be help on the RPG's web site, or FAQ's.
